I think the word comfort comes to mind when choosing my top three today. This is very fitting as it’s cold and raining outside and the little one and I have braved the cold to visit the markets, eat blueberry muffins, drink hot chocolate (him) and buy ‘secret chocolate’ (aka Green & Blacks Maya Gold) at the organic cafe. I love chocolate and I don’t just mean the sweet treat, I’m also a big fan of the colour. Here’s what my search found today:
TOP: Petite Threla’s Hot Chocolate All Natural Lip Balm. I love lip balm but it I don’t think to use it very often. I have a feeling that if this was in my bag it would be gone in no time.
MIDDLE: Broken Hallelujah’s Crochet Womens Mary Jane Slippers. I think these would be so cozy and just a little bit of fun on our cork floors. Love the mint and chocolate colour combination.
BOTTOM: Whimsy and Spice’s Chocolate Orange and Cardamom Shortbread Cookies. Don’t these sound divine? I think cardamom is one of the loveliest and under utilised spices. It’s probably fortunate for me that they don’t ship to Australia.

If there was ever a color that would make me happy, it’s chocolate. I am a fall, so chocolate even looks good on me. Happiness!
The lip balm. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Seriously. I wonder if it has the same euphoric effect as actual chocolate.
The slippers definitely make me want to snuggle up in a sweater. Rain would be the perfect weather to stay inside and just walk around in those. They are darling. Very charming.
The cookies. Yum. I mean really. Yum.
As always, great choices.
Me = epic fail with chocolate lip balm. I either eat it all off my lips or it makes me hungry all. the. time.
Although those cookies are right up my alley…
