I had to do it! For my previous macaroon post I searched high and low for the perfect (creative commons) picture. I had completely forgotten about these gorgeous images from Pugly Pixel that I downloaded a few weeks ago. There is enough singles, stacks, profiles and macaroons with bites out of them to tempt the most discerning palette. Since tomorrow is farmer’s market day I think I may have to buy some to round off my macaroon obsessed week.
This one is courtesy of Idée - a little tool that allows you to look at over 10millions Flickr photos by colour. You can select up to 10 colours and it will display pages thumbnails based on your choice. I went for a green hue, of course, and then added a pink to the mix! Click on any of the thumbnails to go to the original. I have no idea what this would be good for but what a great time waster.
I believe I have found my new favourite chocolate. Every Thursday my youngest and I have an outing together to the local produce market. After buying fruit (mostly) we stop by the organic cafe for a latte (me), babychino (him) and banana bread. Over the last few weeks or maybe months I’ve been sampling their organic chocolate range. I love dark chocolate and can make a block last a whole week and sometimes more – impressive huh? This has been my recent find, Green and Black’s Organic Maya Gold – it’s got just a little hint of orange and spices that makes it taste amazing. If you want to read the Green and Black’s story go to Craig Sams Homepage.
I stumbled upon these cute little bags this year at Floriade (our annual tulip festival). I think the name is brilliant – but that’s too obvious. You can check out Love Libby at her website. Choose your bag, then, if you can, choose your fabric the choice is so great that you will probably find it difficult. I love the lingerie fabric (top left) and I do have a thing for stars and hearts!
