I made these cute eggs and bunnies a couple of years ago from a download courtesy of Sidsel at Spagat Blog. You can view all her downloads here which includes the Easter decorations. I misplaced them last year, I think they got buried in the bottom of the Christmas box. This year we found them again and thanks to the enormous number of eucalyptus trees in the nature strip in the front of our house which shed a great selection of branches and twigs we were able to create our cheery Easter display. Does anyone else decorate for Easter?

In our house Easter chocolates appear in nests in the garden on Easter Sunday. They build their nests (and ours) and our little men end up with a giant stash of assorted chocolate. It’s the only day of the year that they can have chocolate with breakfast. I think we are now all overloaded on it – if that’s possible. Here’s a picture of my little man with his stash (the Easter bunny is very organised and fair) and his Mannie bear hot on the trail of the eggs left by the Easter bunny. Happy Easter everyone.
Happy Easter! Today is the one day of the year that the boys eat chocolate for breakfast! The easter bunny (who hopped out of bed at 4:18 this morning) left a few tasty treats in the nests we made in the garden yesterday. Not even the rain could deter him! This is a picture of the eldest with his chocolate bunny that he happily beheaded, broke into little pieces and ate.
This time not the chocolate variety. The boys and I did this little easter craft project last night thanks to a template and instructions from Sidsel of Spagat Blog. You can download the PDF here and don’t forget to get the front and the back for the bunnies. The little one and I went out searching for suitable sticks this morning, it’s not difficult as we have a very large front area to our house filled with several varieties of eucalypt. Our easter display has a very Australian feel
